Pittsburgh Opera announces its 2022–23 season, the company’s 84th. The season continues Pittsburgh Opera’s tradition of performing world-class productions encompassing the Baroque, classical, and modern eras.
Pittsburgh Opera will be producing six operas, which will be performed across a total of four different venues—the Benedum Center, the August Wilson African American Cultural Center, Pittsburgh CAPA School Theater, and Pittsburgh Opera’s headquarters the Bitz Opera Factory. The wide range of venues reflects not just the range of works being produced, but also Pittsburgh Opera’s ongoing commitment to bringing opera to multiple venues throughout the city.
