Lauryn Davis as Armida "gives a fierce, commanding performance of the part, with a voice of remarkable power and quality. More than once she astonished with a brilliant display of vocal pyrotechnics that almost shook the rafters of the theater." - onStage

"...through the ethereal quality of her voice, [Lauryn Davis as Armida] has the melancholic interiority of someone who just stepped out of a Caspar David Friedrich painting." -- Pittsburgh Quarterly (photo credit: David Bachman)
