Opera Up Close is an in-depth look at the music and story of Strauss's Salome, with singers and directors from the production, in the George R. White Opera Studio at Pittsburgh Opera Headquarters.
Panelists include:
- Conductor Antony Walker
- Stage Director Andrew Sinclair
- Two-time Grammy winner Nmon Ford, who will be singing the role of John the Baptist (Jochanaan)
- Pittsburgh Opera Manager of Artistic Administration Robert Boldin
Admission is $5; the event is free to members of FRIENDS of Pittsburgh Opera and donors at $50+.
