On the occasion of OPERA America’s 50th anniversary in 2020, President/CEO Marc A. Scorca is visiting OA’s 16 founding member companies to celebrate a half-century of opera in America — virtually!
The artistic strides of the industry over the last 50 years are thanks to the achievements of individual opera companies, administrators, artists, and advocates in communities nationwide. This virtual presentation, generously supported by Bank of America, will highlight the contribution Pittsburgh Opera has made to this progress and how these achievements enrich the national opera landscape.
