Join Pittsburgh Opera Resident Artists Andy Berry, Eric Ferring, Shannon Jennings, and Taylor Raven for this unique and exciting performance! This Art Song Recital will feature Spanish-flavored songs from the Romantic era to the 1900s including selections from:
- Robert Schumann's Spanisches Liederspiel
- Joaquín Turina's Poema en forma de canciones
- Eleanor Hague's and Charles Lummis' Folk Songs from Old California
- Fernando Obradors' Canciones clásicas españolas
- Xavier Montsalvatge's Cinco canciones negras
FRIENDS of Pittsburgh Opera are your hosts at the recitals.
Art Song Recitals are held in the George R. White Studio at Pittsburgh Opera Headquarters, 2425 Liberty Avenue in the Strip. Admission is $5; free to members of FRIENDS of Pittsburgh Opera and donors at $50+.
