Jno Hunt and Marianne Cornetti will present a preview of Hansel & Gretel based on the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm.
Dr. Hunt and Metropolitan Opera Star, Marianne Cornetti will present background information on the composer and the production, a synopsis of the story and will play examples its the beautiful music.
You don’t need to be a ticket holder or an opera subscriber to attend this event; you just need a love of music and the desire to know more about it.
The Pittsburgh Opera will present Humperdinck’s Hansel & Gretel at the Benedum Center on November 3, 6, 9, and 11, 2018. Dr. Hunt’s appearance is made possible by the Pittsburgh Opera.
