Enjoy a respite from holiday madness with music by Beethoven, Prokofiev, Haydn, and Chopin, as Pittsburgh Opera Head of Music Glenn Lewis once again presents a recital of piano music in Pittsburgh Opera Headquarters. Free and open to everyone.
The program includes Beethoven's Sonata in A-flat Major, Opus 110, and piano sonatas by Prokofiev (Opus 28, A Minor) and Haydn (A-flat Major), plus two pieces by Chopin: the Ballade in G Minor, Opus 23 and the Nocturne in D-Flat, Opus 27.
